"I love the way Geral presents indigenous people in such a straightforward way, with no idealization. As our modern world seeks better ways of healing, this insightful and lively book brings hope to the human family as it looks to Nature for balance and peace.”

    Transcending Trauma
    Mike Lew

Author of Victims No Longer & Leaping Upon the Mountains

"One seldom uses the word ‘loving’ to describe a book written for professionals. Here we have an exception. Geral Blanchard is one of a kind: intelligent, adventurous, open, funny, respectful, infinitely curious, and articulate – a true child of the Universe. This book, like its author, is wise, helpful, encouraging…and deeply, deeply human.”

"Geral Blanchard has written a marvelous book about how to bring the understandings of the world’s ancient cultures into our contemporary health care practices. I think it’s important that every professional in practice and every student of the healing professions learn from his ideas, and Ancient Ethics is an excellent way for them to explore these important concepts.”

    Lewis Mehl-Madrona

Author of Healing the Mind Through the Power of Story: The Promise of Narrative Psychiatry

    & Narrative Medicine

    Ancient Ways
    Rupert Ross

Author of Returning to the Teachings: Exploring Aboriginal Justice & Indigenous Healing

"There are few people brave enough to have experienced what Blanchard has, much less being willing to write about it. He has penetrated this other way of seeing and his book, Ancient Ways, will hopefully help shape the next generation of his profession.”
